There was a lounge on the first floor and a small kitchen. The hostel was quiet and empty when we visited, and it was clean. They turned on the heat for us since evenings get very cold. We had hot showers and towels, and they provided little bars of soap and shampoo.

Quilotoa Lake is right nearby and an easy walk away, and the area is quiet and peaceful, a nice place to unwind after exploring. We paid $10 per person without breakfast after negotiating, though the usual ask is $15. The family who run this little hostel and B&B were very accommodating and friendly. Our beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious, and each bed had fresh towels and a small soap container. Highly recommend!

Martita’s house was a lovely place to stay during my vacation in Ecuador, with excellent service. It's only a few minutes from the lake. I recommend it 100%.

We had both dinner and breakfast included, and there was plenty of food. Both meals were really good. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Hot water in the shower, a fireplace, and an electric heater made a huge difference for us. Great spot for visiting the Quilotoa Laguna.
