Hotel Cucuve

The hotel and its location don't match what the pictures show. The beachfront spot marked on Google Maps and Hotels.com is actually about 300 meters away, and you have to walk past a restaurant to get there. Not great.

The breakfast was incredible, and the woman who cooks in the morning is fantastic. Cucuve is a great boutique hotel, really well looked after, with an awesome location. The front desk is efficient and thorough, and the rooms are super clean, cleaner than some name brand hotels I've stayed in.

After a long travel day, we loved unwinding in the lounge by the water and enjoying the breeze and wildlife. The rooms at Hotel Cucuve were clean, cool, and comfortable. Ana and Cristian made us feel like family and shared helpful recommendations. They even helped track down the shoes my dad had left on a boat during one of our day trips. The whole stay was wonderful. Thanks, Hotel Cucuve, for making the trip so great.

The staff made our Galapagos trip much easier, helping arrange a taxi to Baltra, diving, and land tours on Santa Cruz. They also had tips about things to do on the other islands. We loved the breakfast, especially the to-go packs for early tours and ferries. This was our best stay across several days on three of the main islands. Hotel Cucuve should be the standard for the park's other “boutique” hotels. The rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully laid out, and the price felt right. We had to extend a day and stayed in two different rooms, and both were excellent. It really made the trip more enjoyable. Thank you.
