8/10

A straightforward, good-value place with a nice pool and good AC in the room. The rooms were clean, and the staff were very friendly and wanted us to have a good time. Our Galapagos package included all meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The portions were filling, though the Ecuadorian food and portion style weren't really to my taste.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, quiet, and in a great location. People were friendly and helpful, and the food was fine. It was just what I wanted while I was in the Galapagos to see the sights. The TV had 76 channels, though I wouldn't have cared if it had none.

We had a great stay. The room was simple but furnished and pretty comfortable, and there was a pool. All three meals were good.

The room was clean, the staff very helpful, and the food was good. Excursions were well organized, and the location was good too. WiFi is only available in the common areas, not in the rooms.

Don Gonzalo was very welcoming and helpful. The location was pleasant and quiet, within a five-minute walk of el Malecon.
