The service and breakfast were both exceptional, and I have no complaints. What stood out most to me, though, was the beauty of the place. From the gate onward, there were lovely details everywhere, from the crafted wood and furniture in the lobby to the huge doors and windows, the curving staircase, pool and jacuzzi layout, garden, room windows, and decor. I could go on. It was the nicest place we stayed during our roughly week-long Galapagos trip in October 2025, and it lived up to expectations. Spending our last evening reading in the jacuzzi and looking at the lights of Puerto Ayora was a fantastic end to our time in that amazing part of the world.

Juan Pablo, Camila, Maria Jose, and the whole team made us feel welcome and helped us before and throughout our stay. Breakfast, bar, and pool were all amazing. Villa Escalesia was a perfect base for our daily adventures, and we had the best week-long stay. We'd come back in a heartbeat. Thanks for a wonderful first visit to the Galapagos!

The bay view and all the wildlife around the grounds made the location special. We could walk to the Research center, main pier, lots of restaurants, and great shops. The breakfast was generous and tasty, and well worth the splurge to stay here. We absolutely loved our stay. Juan Pablo and all the staff were kind, quick to respond, and ready to help with even the smallest requests. The rooms were beautiful and very clean, with lovely decor, a comfortable bed, and soft towels. The hotel grounds are gorgeous too. I almost want to keep this place to myself, but it was too good not to share.

After our seven-day liveaboard, this was such a welcome place to stay, and we'll be back. The rooms and resort looked even more beautiful in person than in the website photos, and the staff made the experience memorable. Juan Pablo, Maria, and Camila were kind and easy to approach. They communicated really well, gave advice, and booked reservations for us. The breakfasts were delicious and filling, a lovely treat before a day of adventures. If you're thinking of booking, do it. I'm so glad we did!

My husband and I spent five nights at Villa Escalesia at the end of our honeymoon, and we loved it. We could unwind in the oceanfront hot tub after long days of diving, and breakfast was wonderful, with a different main dish each day. They also accommodated my gluten-free diet. The staff and service made the experience special, and the beautifully designed hotel sits in a lovely secluded spot on the waterfront. I actually cried when we left. It feels like home here 😊
