Casa Joaquin Boutique Hotel

Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff were great. It’s a short distance from plenty of things worth seeing. I’ll certainly come back to this lovely place.

The two sisters who run the hotel were so helpful, arranging drivers to the airport and Otavolo, and breakfast was great. Their kindness made up for a few disappointments, though. The neighborhood felt less safe than others in Quito, and people generally recommend staying indoors at night. The building also wasn't as bright as the photos suggested, and the bed was hard and uncomfortable. I expected somewhere nicer, since it felt more like a hostel. Still, it was a positive experience overall.

Don Francisco made the stay. He's a charming manager and a real selling point for this hotel. When he arranged a 4am taxi to the airport, he even had a packed sandwich and hot coffee ready for me. That was service at its best. The hotel is adorable and quiet, with comfy beds and hot showers. The location is great too, within walking distance of all the action. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it.

Francisco and Olega were a huge help, sharing useful insights about the city and suggesting attractions and places to eat. We had a fantastic experience and the service was top-notch. We stayed four nights at this charming boutique hotel in Quito. The rooms and common areas were very clean. Highly recommend!
