The service was awful, the worst I've ever had. My room was cold and had no hangers. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but when I asked in the morning, I just got a grunt of “Cafe” and a point toward a self-serve coffee pot. Nobody offered any food. At checkout, he tried to charge me twice the rate posted and agreed on. I expected better from Ecuador's capital. Find somewhere else to stay. When I first walked in, I figured it was 4 stars at best.

There are plenty of things nearby, and right across the street there's a laundry place and a mini market. Good hostels.

It's affordable, and the customer service is friendly. Foch Plaza, with its bars and discotheques, is very close.
