I spent three weeks here and found it very clean and quiet. The rooms had a decent amount of space, the bathrooms were clean, and I liked having a big seating area to read or work on my laptop. The employees were helpful and spoke enough English to answer some questions, though knowing some Spanish is always useful. I never felt threatened outside the hostel; the area felt safe. There are lots of nearby restaurants, and a large park a few kilometers south. It was easy to walk around, or take a bus for 25 cents if I didn't feel like walking. My stay here and time in Quito were great.

I spent a month at this clean, cozy hostel. There's plenty of shared space if you want to sit and have some time to yourself, plus a big bookshelf full of books. The staff are polite and always glad to help. The location is good too, with Quicentro shopping mall and Carolina park about 10 minutes away. If I end up in Quito again, I'll definitely stay here.

I was here for two nights in 2017 and really liked the place. You can use the common kitchen, and the facilities were always neat. I usually get bad allergies in Quito, but didn't suffer from them during my stay.

The street is quiet, so traffic won't disturb you, and this is the cheapest place in the neighborhood: $25 a night for a single room or $10 for a dorm bed. It's a small hostal run by a young family who were extremely friendly and generous with me. Highly recommended!

It's in the best location in Quito and the rates are cheap, though the hostel isn't very comfortable. Don't stay in historical central Quito.
