The lounge area is nice, and the WiFi worked better than at similar hotels I’ve stayed in around the country. It’s excellent value, though a little basic. Staff don’t speak English very well, so brush up on your Spanish. Breakfast was included: cheese, ham, two rolls, two eggs, and hot milk or water, with coffee and sugar on the table. The shower had good hot water pressure, but the bathroom wasn’t as clean as the bedroom. There was a soap dispenser but no shampoo. I was moved to a larger room, but it was on the ground floor by the car park, with a door straight outside. It felt a bit noisy and unsafe.

Jimmy, the owner of Hotel Bella Casona, made me feel like family. The home-cooked breakfasts and lunches were great. I had an excellent experience and highly recommend it.

Breakfast was good, and the hotel is basic but decent. There’s plenty of street noise, though that seems to be the usual situation here. It takes a while, but the showers do eventually get hot.
