The staff were really attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, though the bathroom could have been cleaned a little better. We also liked the food, which was tasty and came in generous portions at reasonable prices. D'Carlos Inn has good facilities for families with kids.

There are a few useful perks: pets are allowed, guests can use the water park, and parking is free. But the beds were uncomfortable, and the shower would run out of water. The Wi-Fi was weak in some rooms, and during heavy rain the power could be out for a long time.

It was a quiet, pleasant stay. Some areas of the facilities looked a bit worn, which seemed related to the building's age. Also, a few water slides weren't operating when we visited because of an issue with the water pumps.

10/10
Surrounded by nature, with plenty of fun things to do in the pools and lively entertainment. The restaurant has good prices too. It's more expensive than the average resort in Santo Domingo, but I thought the money was worth it.

The rooms are very nice, and the people working at D'Carlos were friendly and attentive. The gardens had some empty containers lying around, mostly because visitors leave their trash wherever they like, even though there are several trash cans at the inn.
