The front desk price is lower than the online rate. The hotel has an older feel, but the rooms are clean, with hot water and a TV. There’s also a phone in the room, though I’m not sure it works since I didn’t try it.

They made me feel like guests really matter, even though I’m a high-maintenance, overly demanding one-star guest. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and there was hot water, too. For a little more, you can get a heater in the room, and after trying it I can’t imagine staying in Tulcan without one. Five stars!

There’s plenty of space in the room, and the bed was comfortable with hot water available. The hotel is nice, though a bit old. Being on the city’s main road meant a lot of noise in the morning, and the breakfast was very poor.

There’s a bike shop two blocks up the road, and this makes a good starting point for the Trans Ecuador Mountain bike route!!!
