The rooms are lit very harshly, with bright lights. The customer service staff seem to remember English when they want to, but couldn’t speak it when I needed help. Khalid is the receptionist. Abdul Rahman uses Hebrew alphabet on his phone.

Good value for the price, with clean beds and bathrooms. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Khaled.

For my one-night solo stay, the location was handy, with lots of coffee shops and places to eat nearby. I booked two days ahead through Agoda for a very good price, and the receptionists were consistently friendly and helpful. My room was clean and tidy. The A/C didn’t work in Heat mode, but the blanket was enough. The cleaning ladies, security guard, and the man who helped with my bags were all super friendly too. I’d recommend it for solo travelers or a short stay like mine. The negative reviews I’d read didn’t match my experience.

We got there around noon, though check-in was at 14h. At first, reception said there’d be no extra charge and that the room was being cleaned, so we waited. After we’d settled in to wait, he changed his mind and wanted 10 dollars extra per room. We’d already explained that we only needed day use and would leave for the airport that night, but they weren’t understanding or cooperative. When we came back around 4 PM, the room still wasn’t clean. The sheets hadn’t been changed and had hair from other guests on them, and the carpet was really dirty. We waited from 4 until 6 PM while they cleaned the room again. When I tried to speak with the manager, she refused and said I could go somewhere else if I wanted, then suggested I find another hotel. We had to just sit there and wait. There were three girls in our room and our male friend had a single room. I went to check whether he’d settled in, but reception called to say visits weren’t allowed. I didn’t stay, I only wanted to make sure he was okay. This was the most horrible hotel I’ve stayed in. Don’t ever go there!
