Castle Hotel

The room was great value, and you can walk to pretty much everything. Breakfast was okay, and the rooftop is nice, though it gets windy and the view is dusty and urban. The hotel has an elevator. The kitchen and cooking area could use a refresh, same as the rooms. Noise was the main problem: rooms by the wooden stairs to the roof really need earplugs, and conversations up there carry. But, well, it’s Cairo and nothing’s perfect. I’d book again, so it wasn’t that bad.

That upper-floor balcony was a lovely place to sit and take in the view. I found the price reasonable for the service, and the location made it easy to get to everything I needed. My room was comfortable and clean, with good amenities and air conditioning that worked perfectly. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the whole place felt well kept. Yousef was especially friendly and accommodating throughout my visit. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The terrace is lovely, the location is great, and the hotel is very good value. Most of all, the staff were wonderful to me. I left behind a really important personal item, and they did everything they could to get it back to me. Special thanks to Khlood, Farah, and Yousef 🫶🏽. I highly recommend staying here.

The rooftop restaurant really adds to the stay. It’s a nice place to meet friendly guests from all over and chat. Castle Hotel is run well by pleasant, efficient staff, and we enjoyed our time there without any complaints. They seem to have considered all the little comforts that make guests happy. If Egypt calls me back, this hotel will be one reason to return.
