Novotel Cairo Airport

Breakfast and dinner had a good variety, and the staff were friendly. The rooms differ in how updated and clean they are. The free shuttle was very useful, though it wasn't always punctual and was never too delayed. For an airport pickup, be ready to WhatsApp or call reception after leaving the Arrivals building.

Khalid, who manages the Italian restaurant, deserves a special thank you for his thoughtful hospitality and attention to detail. He really goes out of his way to make guests feel valued. The food was delicious, and the service felt caring. Masri and Mohammed, the shisha attendants, were also friendly and attentive, and made the evening more relaxing. I had a wonderful, comfortable stay at Novotel Cairo Airport in Egypt. Everything felt welcoming and easy from the moment I arrived, and the location and airport access made things stress-free. My room was clean and cozy, and all the staff were kind and professional, always ready to help with a smile. I'm grateful for the warm Egyptian hospitality and would happily come back.

The meals were a real highlight, fresh and full of flavor, and the quality was better than I expected. I also felt well looked after throughout the stay. Khalid ans Mohammed shakrkry were especially friendly and professional, and they went out of their way to make things right. Their care made a difference. I had a lovely stay and would recommend the hotel, and I’d be happy to come back.

The shuttle was reliable when we used it at 5am, and it comes every half hour. The driver seemed grumpy, though, and don’t count on help with your bags or even having the back doors opened for loading. At reception, they changed our room right away when we complained about noise, but otherwise staff didn’t offer much information and seemed keen to hurry us along, even when nobody was waiting. The rooms were mostly comfortable, though the TVs are old, have no internet connection, and can’t cast or screen share. There’s a serious mold problem in the bathrooms, as the pictures show. It would otherwise be fine for a night and handy for the airport. The cafe’s limited for vegetarians, but the soup, pasta, and ice cream we had were reasonable. The waitress was one of the few friendly staff members, though she pressured us to change our initial five-star review.
