I’ll definitely come back when I’m in Cairo again. The room was really spacious and had what I needed for cooking and laundry, and it was very clean and tidy. It’s easy to get a taxi, and the shopping street is nearby. Mostafa at reception was a big help too. The BEST 🥰🥰🥰

The rooms were spacious and lovely, with comfortable beds, a great rain shower, and even a washing machine with detergent. Our mother enjoyed making breakfast for all of us in the well-equipped room. The hotel blends a historic bank exterior with a sophisticated boutique feel inside, and we were welcomed warmly. The simple lobby had a fresh, pleasant scent. Although it’s in busy central Cairo near lots of cafes and shops, it sits on a quieter little street. There wasn’t a “Saint J Hotel” sign outside, so it was a bit unassuming. Two things could be better: sheer curtains behind the thick ones would let in daylight while keeping privacy, and the bathroom needs hooks or towel bars. We were very happy we stayed here.

The rooms are spacious and nicely designed, the shower is good, the WiFi strong, and the staff friendly. For such a central spot it was surprisingly quiet, and the price was good for what you get. A few rooms open straight onto the public terrace, which might sound nice, but there’s little privacy unless you close the curtains and lose daylight. People also smoke right outside those windows. Cairo seems hard to avoid smokers in, so I guess we’ll have to live with it.

Walaa Jamal and Dounia Hussein from housekeeping were great, really helpful and flexible. The hotel is right in central Cairo, close to Eg Exchange, banks, shops, and restaurants like B laban and GAD. Good place for the money.

I booked through Trip.com because the photos of the building entrance appealed to me, but it wasn’t what I expected. It was filthy and dusty, and there’s no elevator. I guess we got fooled. Seems like a thing here in egypt.
