The room was cramped and unpleasant, like being in jail, despite the high price. They also asked for an extra 5% for card payment, which I said wasn't in the tourism law. They dropped that fee when I said I'd complain. After seeing the room, I asked for a refund and they refused. I called the tourism police, who told them they had no right to refuse, and then they agreed to refund me. By then it was late and I was tired of searching for another place. Check the room before paying, and don't pay extra fees. The tourism police number is 126, and they were very helpful and nice.

The location was convenient, and it was easy to meet other travelers because the atmosphere was social. The shared spaces were well kept, and the place itself felt clean, safe, and organized. Staff were friendly and ready to help. A welcoming, budget-friendly option.

My room looked out over Tahrir Square, and I'd love to come back. The staff were really friendly, the rooms were clean, and the service and breakfast were excellent.

I was so happy with my stay at el Tahrir view hotel 🤍 The room was really clean, everything felt perfect, and all the staff were kind and friendly. The lady at reception was lovely too 🤍 Thanks so much ❤

They gave my room away even though Booking said check-in was allowed until 23:30, and I was there at 20:00. Then they wanted to move me to another building that wasn't listed on Booking.com. They were very rude. Don't go there, they’re scammers!
