Viaje Hotel Downtown Cairo

It’s handy for getting around, with most major attractions within walking distance. The room was a decent size, though the bed wasn’t very comfortable. This is more of an economy stay than a star-rated hotel. The hotel is on the fifth floor, and the elevator is very small, which sometimes felt a little unsettling. If you’re coming from the EU or the US, check things carefully before booking.

Viaje Downtown Cairo is in a great spot, right in Downtown Cairo and close to everything. It’s newly opened, so a few little details are still being finished, but that was understandable and didn’t get in the way of my stay. The hotel feels fresh and modern, with clean, well-designed, comfortable rooms. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout. I had a great stay, would happily recommend it, and would come back.

The hotel looked like the online photos, which I appreciated, and my room was clean with working AC. Breakfast had a nice range and was decent. Staff were polite and generally tried to help when needed. There are a few little things they could improve, but I had a pleasant stay.

The location was a real plus, close to restaurants and attractions. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the staff answered my questions patiently and were very helpful and respectful. My room was cozy, comfortable, and cleaned thoroughly every day. The hotel as a whole looked very well cared for. I slept well in the bed, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and breakfast was fresh in a clean, organized dining area. It was worth every pound, and I’d gladly come back.
