Jewel Dokki Hotel

The rooms we ended up in were clean and spacious, and the staff were very helpful. But we’d booked a two-room apartment with three single beds in each for six women, for five nights, May 21-25, a month ahead. When we arrived, we were told it was under maintenance, with no notice beforehand. After a long discussion, they gave us two separate rooms on opposite sides of the lobby. Since we’d paid in full, moving to another hotel wasn’t an option. There was construction upstairs, so the lobby stayed dusty and workers kept walking through with debris. The Wi-Fi was terrible too. We had to go to reception to get a signal or ask for a new password each time. In 2025, that’s unacceptable. Helpful staff and decent rooms, but the management and planning were very poor. I wouldn’t recommend it unless they make major improvements.
