Mayorca Hotel

We only had breakfast, and the dining area was very dirty, with food left on the floor. The internet didn't work on half our phones or on the laptop. The sheets and covers were dirty even after we asked for fresh ones, and outside noise came through clearly at night. The extra beds were awful to sleep on. Free parking meant leaving the car on the street ourselves. It was parked in the second row all night, even after we asked them to park it properly.

After one night I had to cancel the rest of my stay. The rooms were terribly outdated, the listed internet service wasn't available, and the air conditioner was broken and unusable. There was an old CRT television with a broken remote, too. A very bad experience.

The location is great, just a 10-minute walk from game3t el dol st. I booked a triple room, though it wasn't very big. Thanks to the staff for their service. I'd skip the restaurant, though, I don't think you'll like it.

The restaurant on the first floor was really clean, and the chef and staff were great. The reception team was helpful, too. Rooms have a nice bed and bathroom, though the TV is small but fine for me. The building and entrance aren't the best, and it isn't a new hotel. WiFi coverage doesn't reach everywhere, but the speed was moderate. It's right in downtown Cairo, in El Agouza, close to the opera house, Cairo tour, Old museum, and El Tahir Square.
