Arabia Azur Resort - All Inclusive Hotel

The lagoon location is lovely, with beautiful views, and I'd suggest this hotel to anyone who isn't expecting anything special. The rating feels more like 3.5/5. Rooms are clean, though the bathrooms need renovation and the AC is very noisy. Wi-Fi is weak and only works in certain spots in the room and around the hotel. Food gets 2.5/5, nothing special. The freshly squeezed juices are delicious but cost 150 LE. At the bars, service varies, and staff often focus on guests buying drinks. The all-inclusive drink selection is limited and the quality isn't great. Whether you get original Pepsi or a low-quality machine cola feels like roulette. It's crazy that guests can reserve sunbeds overnight. The maids, though, are really kind. It seems the hotel tries to save money wherever it can.

The hotel is part of a large, beautiful area connected to several other hotels. The sea stays in place here, so it's a great spot for snorkeling and diving. It's quite windy, though not suitable for kitesurfing since there's nowhere to launch or land a kite. The food is tasty and there are enough options, even if there aren't a million. We had no digestion problems. Ice cream is offered daily, but tastes very artificial and isn't good. Reception is rather weak. Rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel isn't new, but it's really good for a 3-star place.

We spent New Year's Eve at this beautiful resort, which has its own beach along part of the Red Sea. The beach is lovely, with both shallow and deep water options. Most things were good, but the pillows were much too high for us to sleep well. During the show, a staff member, possibly part of the entertainment crew, stood in my daughter's view to let some locals through, which felt discriminatory. The alcohol was poor quality and gave me a headache the next morning.

The hotel looks nice and the price isn't bad, and it's close to the centre. Food was average. Two of us had stomach problems after dinner in the main restaurant, so be careful about what you eat. The seafood and fruit didn't look fresh, and the desserts were inedible, as usual, with all that sugar and icing. I'd only come back for the snorkeling area and the friendly lifeguards. You can see dolphins in summer and lots of different fish. In some places it gets so deep you can't see the seabed anymore.
