Continental Plaza Beach Resort (Ex. Inter Plaza Beach)

The resort has beautiful grounds, lots of activities, several restaurants, plenty of pools, and a nice beach. The staff were all lovely and helpful. If you’re looking for good value and aren’t fussy or a perfectionist, it’s a solid option. I’d consider spending more for a more luxurious hotel if you can. There were a few problems, though, and thinking it over, I don’t feel it’s at IHG standard yet. The air conditioning stayed at one temperature; even though the remote offered controls to raise or lower it, they didn’t work. Every morning a loud, constant beep woke us up. We couldn’t tell where it came from. It stopped after about 10 minutes, but it was awful, especially so early. The food quality and organisation were poor. We ate at the buffet on our first night and decided that was enough. It was a chaotic free-for-all, with huge swarms of people snatching food as if it were their last meal. Food at both restaurants was poor too, so we ate outside for the rest of the trip. The key cards also stopped working during our stay. That usually doesn’t bother me at hotels, but here it meant a long trip back to reception for replacements.

Ziad Refaat made us feel comfortable and valued throughout our stay at Continental Plaza Beach Resort. He was attentive from the moment we arrived until we left, always smiling and ready to help with anything. He came across as sincere and respectful, and you can tell he loves his job. A special thank you to him, and to bellboy Mohamed Fiesal as well. The hotel is lucky to have staff like them, and we hope to see Ziad Refaat again when we return. 🌟

Mohamed Yousef, the supervisor at Panorama Restaurant, really stood out. He was professional, kind, and attentive to details, greeting guests with a smile and making sure our meals went smoothly. His hospitality gave our stay a personal touch. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the facilities were well maintained. We also enjoyed the beautiful beach, the excellent location, and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere at Continental Plaza Beach Hotel. It was a wonderful stay, and I’d gladly recommend it and visit again.

The food and the restaurants’ cleanliness and quality were a highlight for me, and the aqua park was amazing too. I also liked having quiet spots to relax alongside areas with fun activities, so there was something for everyone. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to Mr. Ahmed Adnan at reception for being so polite, supportive, and cooperative.
