Grand Halomy resort

My wife and I stayed for four days after our flight was canceled, and we ended up choosing a cheap option by chance. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The rooms were clean, with fresh sheets and towels every day, and both the location and beach were great. The food was a little worse, but fair for the price, and you can see they’re trying. If they keep going in this direction, I might return for a longer stay in two years.

The view is a big part of the appeal here, especially for the price. Since the new owner took over this year, they've clearly put a lot of work into the renovation, and it looks lovely. The rooms are simple but clean, with what you need for a good rest and a nice balcony. They're cleaned every day. The staff were really friendly, too. There's also a lovely bar, with great entertainment on Thursdays and Fridays, where locals and tourists mingle. Great value, and we'd happily recommend it.

The location is excellent and the views are genuinely beautiful. That's the one bright spot. My stay was otherwise a real disappointment: the room service was very poor, the room barely seemed clean, the furniture was old and worn, and the bathrooms were in terrible shape. There was also an unpleasant smell around the outdoor gardens. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The staff were polite and did try to help, but the condition of Grand Halomy was awful. My room was dirty, poorly maintained, and smelled bad. Service took ages, and even basic essentials were missing. Breakfast was nearly inedible, and the beach was the worst part: completely unusable and unsuitable for anyone. This was one of the worst hotel stays I've had, and I strongly don't recommend it.
