Mohammed at the reception made us feel welcome and comfortable right from the start. His warm manner, professionalism and real willingness to help made a big difference to our stay. He went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly for us, and his positive energy stood out. We'd like Sharm Plaza's management to give him special recognition. Thank you for having such a valuable member of the team. Kind regards, Burak Gündoğdu …

I came home with food poisoning after eating at the hotel's à la carte restaurant. My symptoms began around midnight, but reception told me a doctor wouldn't be available until 10 a.m. I was traveling alone and could barely speak properly, and no one at the hotel supported me. Thankfully, the insurance company took me to a hospital and helped. I also contacted my guide Ali from Joice, who said I had to call the insurance company myself and that helping wasn't his responsibility. His role seemed to be limited to selling excursions. Another guest said he thought his drink might have been spiked at the club a couple of nights earlier. I wonder if the same happened to me, since I had only a small amount of alcohol before vomiting and suddenly falling asleep. I have no concrete evidence that my drink was spiked. The hotel is old and worn out, and needs a full renovation or should close. Most reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, though Mohamed was open and willing to assist. The restaurant was dirty and cramped, with a constant shortage of clean plates and cutlery. When I asked a waiter for clean utensils, I was told to get them myself. Without tips, you won't get proper service, which is especially troubling for hygiene. My room, on the other hand, was cleaned well every day. The sea is beautiful, as it always is in the Red Sea, but getting into the water was uncomfortable and dangerous because the stairs were extremely slippery. The beach staff were lovely, positive and welcoming. The animation team also really tried to keep guests entertained. Emo, Misha, Adel and Simba, thank you! I know the hotel is relatively inexpensive, but the poor hygiene and unhappy staff outweighed any pleasure from the Red Sea. I do NOT recommend it, especially for families with children.

We spent a week at Sharm Plaza Resort, and it was one of our best holidays. I loved the clear water, beach and relaxed atmosphere with the DJ. The meals were delicious, with international and Egyptian restaurants, and the room price included an unlimited open buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms were clean and spacious with lovely sea views, and the staff were friendly and cooperative. There's plenty to do, and the location is close to Naama Bay and Sharm El-Sheikh promenade. Mr. Ahmed Al-Shanawi deserves a special thank you for his attention to every restaurant detail, the variety of food and his excellent hospitality. He helped make our stay special. Thanks to manar for the kids animation and for helping others too, and thanks Mrs Nasser. If you're visiting Sharm El-Sheikh, book here. You'll have a great time! Highly recommended 😊

The beach is amazing if you can swim and love snorkeling, and snorkeling itself was perfect. But it's a very small sandy patch under rocks, so anyone who can't swim won't be able to use the beach or pools. Of the five pools, only one was working, and the aqua wasn't working either. The animation team was amazing. The hotel's six restaurants require bookings at least 24 hours ahead, which meant losing our first night if we wanted to try one. Food was average. For a four-star hotel, the rooms were in terrible shape: stained beds and chairs, ants and bugs, clogged bathrooms, doors that wouldn't lock and awful air conditioning. We asked to change rooms and they moved us twice, but the same cleanliness and maintenance issues followed us. The doors still weren't repaired, so in our ground-floor room we had to get in through the window. The rooms needed maintenance, and the cleanliness was terrible. I had a very bad stay at Charm Plaza Hotel in khaleeg basha. It is rated four stars but deserves only three, in my view, and I don't understand how the Ministry of Tourism allows it to operate in front of foreign visitors in Sharm El-Sheikh.

The sea was breathtaking, and diving in it was amazing. The cleaning was good and friendly, and the gardener gave us a flower, such a sweet gesture. Restaurant staff were always keen to help or find us a table. The entertainment team was great with our children and kept trying to get them involved in activities. By the pool, the music gave the holiday a nice vibe. Unfortunately, our children got sick during the stay. We suspect they drank the water served in the restaurant. I'd suggest the hotel label it so guests know whether it's detox drink made with tap or bottled water. We had a lovely stay at first, and the staff were all extremely kind and helpful. The man at the pharmacy was very helpful with advice and support when we needed medicine. We're looking forward to coming back one day.
