Apartamentos Prado Sastre

This was my second stay here, and after coming back from the beach I went to shower, only to find the cleaner had thrown away my only packet of hair conditioner. I travel with packets of expensive conditioner for my very curly, dry hair and get two or three uses from each. The maid neither replaced it nor apologized. Horrible service when something goes wrong. There are no beach towels or locker for valuables either, and after they threw away my things, I felt I needed a place to lock up valuables. Update: the 'person' handling my messages can take days to answer. There don't seem to be any human beings here. They said they'd raised it with management, but nobody has contacted me.

The room was small, cleaning was quick, and there was no option for a late checkout. The location is great and there's a hot tub, but the sparkling wine they're selling for 50 euro costs 4 euro. That's just silly. The elevator is like a box, so take the stairs.

I could walk to the beach in 10 minutes, and the hotel is close to restaurants and next to a lovely green area. The room was beautifully designed, with lots of space and a small kitchen, useful for the microwave, cutlery and fridge rather than cooking.

Bright, modern rooms, and some even come with a jacuzzi. The spot is right behind the waterfront, with loads of tapas bars only a few minutes away on foot.
