There were four adults and one 12-year-old child in our group, visiting Alicante with friends at the end of August. The first-floor apartment exceeded our expectations and was very comfortable and convenient. It had central air conditioning, a fridge, TV, microwave, kettle, electric stove, oven, toaster and plenty of other kitchen equipment, along with a large set of dishes and cutlery. The clean, new bed linen and towels were great, and there were lots of cupboards and shelves. It had everything an apartment should have, and more. Since we were on the first floor, there was also a spot to sit outside in the fresh air. It’s on a quiet street, not far from the sea, which we walked to. There’s a bus stop nearby, and small supermarkets and restaurants are within walking distance. Santa Barbara fortress, the archaeological museum and other sights aren’t far away either. The owners were always in touch and ready to sort out any problems. If you’re going to Alicante, we’d stay here again.

A terrible stay, absolutely avoid this place. Five of us women arrived late at night at the apartment in Alicante and found it infested with cockroaches. That was unacceptable from a hygiene point of view. We contacted the owner straight away, but he was rude and unhelpful and even complained that we’d disturbed him. A “disinfestation” was done the next day, but it didn’t fix the problem. The cockroaches were still there. With no other option, we had to stay and breathe in chemical sprays for days, which made us very uncomfortable. The owners were rude and unprofessional, and seemed completely uninterested in solving the problem. We felt ignored and not taken seriously. We strongly do not recommend this accommodation.
