Hotel Les Monges Palace Boutique

The hotel's little quirks are part of what makes it feel special. It's a small boutique place in the heart of Alicante, quiet, safe, and welcoming. The manager and team make it personal, and talking with the staff gives you a sense of how much they care about the hotel and city. It won't suit every taste or be perfect for everyone, but we'll be back.

I loved having the rooftop terrace as a place to unwind, and my room was huge, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. The oversized portraits did feel a bit creepy to me. There were coffee and tea refills on the landing, which was handy. The location was superb, though the hotel felt a little too historic for my taste.

We were especially happy with how welcoming the staff were, particularly the young man working reception and the bar. He gave us some excellent tips for restaurants and sightseeing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get to attractions, restaurants, and the beach. The town itself is stunning and will stay one of our dream destinations. Guille behind the bar made great cocktails and was friendly and attentive. We visited the rooftop bar with family, loved the views and location, and were very pleased with the service.
