For the price, it’s a decent guesthouse with a welcoming entrance. The beds were quite firm, and rooms had two or three beds. There was a night attendant who spoke a little French. The guesthouse has a new name, “La Lambra Azul,” and it seems likely someone has taken it over. My room was a semi-basement with a window facing the street. It felt secure, but there wasn’t much soundproofing.
The whole place lacked hygiene. Although the website said air conditioning was included, they wouldn’t give us the remote when we asked. The employees or owners were so noisy in the morning that we couldn’t sleep. On top of that, a night shift employee repeatedly tried to flirt with my partner. A truly awful experience.
The outside isn’t much to look at, but the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, with good air conditioning and a TV. It’s inexpensive and the service is good. My one complaint is that there should be a doorbell or bell to get the staff’s attention. Around 7:00 AM I needed something and couldn’t find anyone awake outside.
I stayed there with my family, and honestly, it wasn’t bad. The location was terrible, but the welcome was great. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the toilets and bathroom were in perfect condition.
