The location was fantastic, about a 5-9 minute walk to the main city and around 3 minutes to the beach. The owners were welcoming and quite nice, and both spoke good English. We stayed in the biggest room at the back, which had its own shower. It’s a big shared hall, so there’s a lot of echo at night when people unlock doors and come home. If you’re a light sleeper, you’ll get woken up a lot. The room wasn’t dirty, but I wouldn’t call it super clean either. I found an old candy lid under the bed, and for some reason our room had no trash bin. It’s quite far from the WiFi router, so the internet was really poor, only about 1mb download. The bed was okay, though not exactly comfortable, and you may want to bring your own pillows. For the price, location, and staff, it’s a perfect place if you just need somewhere to rest at night while exploring during the day. 3.5/5 stars.

The rooms felt perfectly clean and welcoming throughout our two-week stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions or lend a hand. The location is excellent, right in front of playa postiguet, about a 3-4 minute walk away, and next to centro Alicante and the castle. The location really couldn’t be better. Service and pricing were excellent too.

I couldn’t sleep because it was cold, and there was dirt and rust everywhere. There was no hot water. It was January 23, and I never thought I’d find a place like this in Spain. They took a €50 guarantee and still hadn’t returned the money after three weeks. This nightmare cost me €90. The worst place I’ve ever stayed.

My flight was cancelled, and because of coronavirus I couldn’t fly to Spain. The people here were rude over the phone and wouldn’t agree to change the date or give me a refund. I know now that if I go to Alicante, I won’t stay here. In the end, everyone knows Spain isn’t very welcoming to tourists from the UK.

The bathroom door was broken and trapped me inside at 11:30 at night for three hours. When I called the office, the girl Samantha told me she was sleeping, said I shouldn’t be calling her, and wouldn’t send anyone to help. She said I had to get out on my own, then hung up and didn’t answer again. My husband and I spent hours trying to open the door and get me out. The place is old, run down, and disgusting, with mold everywhere and broken fixtures, floors, and lights. The staff were very irresponsible. Unbelievable that this could happen. Absolutely the worst place, avoid it 100%. We will NOT be paying for our stay!
