Apartment Barcelona Rentals - Rambla de Catalunya Center

The biggest issue was that the listing photos seemed to come from several different apartments, so you had no idea what you’d actually get. They should show only the apartment being rented or list each one separately. We were there just overnight, about 10 hours, and thank goodness it wasn’t longer. It was clean, in a lovely location, and the main bedroom and living room were nice enough. Check-in was at 3pm, but there was no advance notice that we had to collect keys from somewhere 20 minutes away. We had to find a bag drop rather than leave our bags at the office, which would have meant another taxi. It took 25 minutes by taxi to the office, then 25 minutes back to the bag drop and another taxi to the apartment, since the bag drop was at the bottom of La Ramblas. There was basically nothing in the apartment except toilet rolls already in the holders. Don’t expect cleaning supplies, salt, or pepper. The kitchen had very basic equipment. We couldn’t help laughing at the main bathroom, which was like a cupboard. You have to walk through the shower to reach the toilet, and it took ages to find it. The two twin rooms were cramped and had no windows. All the mattresses were poor quality, door handles were missing, and the place felt soulless. It would have been okay for one night. If check-in had been easier or closer, I might have felt a bit differently, but the apartment is squeezed in so tightly that two rooms and both bathrooms are like cupboards. There are better places.

My trip was extraordinary, thanks to the apartment My Space Barcelona provided and their phenomenal customer service. They were helpful all along and made the vacation more than perfect for me. I loved the whole experience and will definitely use them again when I return to Spain.

Be careful. The pictures are falsified, and when you point that out, customer service blames the customers.

Shame we can’t give it zero stars.
