Arai Aparthotel

Javier and his team were great, offering excellent service along with ideas and directions for local attractions. The Gothic Quarter location is easy walking distance from everything there and close to the water. We had a very nice stay at this boutique hotel. The room was spacious and nicely appointed, with a small kitchen, and the bathroom was spacious too. We'd absolutely stay here again.

The studio apartment had a properly equipped kitchen and a fridge, which made a weeklong stay much easier since we didn't have to eat out for every meal. There's an affiliated restaurant next door with solid food and decent drinks, and Oruel square just behind the building has a few good restaurants and bakeries. It quickly became part of my daily routine. I also made use of the basement sauna and gym after long days of walking around the city. The staff were relaxed and helpful without making a fuss. The hotel is in a beautifully restored historic mansion, with an authentic feel rather than that of another polished chain. It's right in the center, so you can get everywhere on foot, and the streets are a pleasure to walk through. A good pick for more than a couple of nights.

The room was massive, the beds were comfortable, the location was perfect, and the staff were just amazing. We really enjoyed our stay. We were close to street level, though, so be prepared to feel like your bed is in the middle of a club, a bar fight, and a busy cafe until 3am. That's part of being in this location.

We stayed five nights during Merce week, and the location was amazing. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very nice, housekeeping did a wonderful job, and the front desk was attentive. It would've been tough to beat this place for our stay. Late-night festivities echoed through the streets, though I think that would happen at any hotel with a balcony, so I don't blame Arai. Ear plugs did the trick.
