Spending over 100 euro a night for this was crazy. It’s the worst hostel I’ve stayed in across more than 30 cities, and it felt like a SCAM. The price was really high, enough for a 4 stars hotel, and I expected better service. We booked a private room with its own bathroom, but both were old and broken. The drain failed once and water flooded out of the shower area, then the next day there was no hot water. The walls were so thin we could hear the next room’s hair dryer, though that was minor next to everything else. The receptionist were rude, and they charged 30-40 euro for check-in after 8pm, which is ridiculous. I booked through agoda, but the app showed a different name for the room. Staff came out of nowhere to say we were loud in the kitchen at 1am, even though we were only microwaving food. The next night, when there was no hot water, nobody showed up 😹

We booked through the website, but nobody explained how to enter, so finding our way took a while. The address shown is wrong: the actual hostel is around the corner at (Carrer del Bruc, 94). Check the attached photo for the right place. The circle marks the entrance. Buzz “guest house” and they’ll let you in, then head upstairs to reception. Hope this makes it easier for someone else.

There was no professionalism or ethics here. Customer service was nonexistent and totally disrespectful. The staff openly lied to me about canceling my reservation.

They confirmed my request, but then wouldn’t let me stay because I’d mistakenly booked a bed in an all-female dormitory. They offered no other bed and no refund. I never got my money back.

We were locked out of our room at 3am and left stranded. There was no contact except a WhatsApp number. They finally read our messages at 10am and didn’t even apologize. The customer service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. There was also drilling in the building next door, and the windows were covered with fake brick-wall paper.
