We loved our four-night stay and would come back. Evelyn deserves a special thank you for being so attentive, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, and the pleasant lobby always had fresh water and candy for a snack after a long day exploring. The rooftop bar team were great and the food was delicious. I also loved the Rituals shampoo, body wash and conditioner in the bathroom.

The grocery store across the street was handy, and the roof has a pool. Our room had a good fan and AC, a coffee machine, and a little fridge that actually kept things cold. We stocked it with milk and snacks for walks around town. We got a queen bed, unlike in Seville and Madrid, where we had two twins, and two free bottles of water a day. The cathedral was visible from our balcony. Breakfast was 24 euro each, so we skipped it. One heads-up: the hotel doesn’t exchange cash, so you’ll need an exchange place. We found one, but compare rates. There were four English TV channels, and unlike the TVs in Seville and Madrid, there was no way to switch Spanish to English.

We’d happily stay again. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff were pleasant. It’s a small hotel with beautiful design, spacious and very clean rooms, and a nice rooftop, though January was too cold to enjoy it.

What made us want to come back was the staff. Reception gave us a warm welcome, housekeeping was lovely, and the restaurant and bar teams were fantastic, always polite, friendly, smiling, and ready to help. We spent five nights at this small, chic hotel in central Barcelona, a few steps from the Cathedral of Barcelona and on the edge of the gothic quarter and El Born. Our room was beautifully designed and full of natural light. The mattress had a firmness we liked, and there was a good choice of pillows, so we slept really well. Breakfast is a great way to start the day, with warm dishes cooked a la carte, a good cold buffet, and excellent coffee. Please stay just as you are, we’d love to return.

The people at the front desk were the highlight: warm, welcoming, and very helpful, especially Debora, Mia and Pedro. H10 Madison is in a perfect spot in the Gothic Quarter, with a metro station and excellent restaurants an easy walk away. The room was well equipped, with a very nice bathroom and shower. We also enjoyed the excellent breakfast in its chic setting. There’s a beautiful rooftop lounge with a heated pool and views of the cathedral and the Sagrada Família.
