Remember to reserve in advance. It’s a stunning, atmospheric location, and even a drink at the bar would be great. The staff are warm and kind, the cocktails are perfectly made, and both the fish and meat are prepared really well.
It’s a pricey place, but the excellent food and outstanding waitstaff make the quality worth it. The high-end restaurant is in a historic building, and candles are lit in the evening for a beautiful atmosphere. A perfect setting for a date.
The food was surprisingly good, and the service was perfectly fine. But it’s so dim with the candles that you can barely see your meal, and the music sounds more suited to a dance floor than a dinner table.
The oysters were fresh and really good, and the wine list was excellent. The place itself is elegant, with a lovely interior and a thoughtfully put-together menu. When we arrived, though, the staff took a while to acknowledge us and didn't seem very welcoming that day. We still had a lovely time, and it didn't spoil the experience. I think I'll be back.
We tried the bar and the atmosphere was amazing. There's a separate smoking area inside, so you don't need to head outdoors. We'll come back for dinner next time.
