The rooms are simple and practical, with what a traveler needs; the lack of extra frills suits the hotel’s charm. It’s a peaceful retreat from the city bustle while still holding onto its history. The restaurant was a real highlight, with a sophisticated menu and excellent service, whether you want a casual bite or a full dinner. Breakfast was delicious too, with fresh, high-quality options reflecting local Sant Antoni flavors. Set in the vibrant Sant Antoni district, just steps from the historic market hall, Hotel Market is in one of Barcelona’s coolest neighborhoods and has a central location. If you value atmosphere and history over generic luxury, it’s a captivating choice. Its Art Deco roots and home-away-from-home feeling make it stand out in the Catalan capital.

The breakfasts were delicious, with lots of good things to choose from. The neighborhood felt safe, quiet, and very green, yet we were still close to the city center and could get around easily. Our spacious, cozy room had plenty of natural light and felt fresh and comfortable. Everything was exceptionally clean. It was a lovely place to stay, and I’d happily return.

I was traveling alone and felt safe the whole time. The location was convenient, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the beds were big and comfy. My room was clean, and I really enjoyed having a bathtub. Good value for money.

Getting to the airport was easy thanks to the good connection with the A2 line, and the service was professional and very good. But room 901 felt dated, with old furniture, and the bathroom was extremely cold and gloomy. There was also too much noise at night, both from other rooms and possibly from the street.
