The room was average and certainly not worth what I paid. Check-in involved a long queue, and every time I needed to speak with reception, I had to wait. In the morning I left one of our two room keys there so a device could keep charging, but it was gone when I returned that afternoon. Housekeeping had removed it. I also didn't like the way reception answered my complaint. It showed how someone can be rude while using polite words.
The metro and train station are about a 12-minute walk away, and the metro system is extensive and easy for us non-natives to work out. The accommodations were clean and the staff friendly. Some of the check-in staff will also give you a map and a list of sights to visit.
The location is good, with eateries and other conveniences nearby. Nau camp FCB is a nice 20 mins walk, and Sagrada Família is a 15 min drive. Nh sants station is close enough to walk to if you're travelling light. The rooms are decent, but check the size before booking. Some are tiny 9 meter rooms. I changed mine quickly because I hadn't noticed the size beforehand.
The air conditioning wasn't working, and the price felt too high for the location and amenities. Breakfast had very few options, with nothing for vegetarians except fruit and no good protein choices. We booked a cab for 3 AM, but it still hadn't arrived by 3:30.
The rooms were functional, clean, and satisfactory, and the bathroom was spacious with everything needed. My issues were the lack of free coffee in the room and the WiFi. It didn't work in the room at first; after four complaints, it started working, but barely well enough for email. Streaming wasn't possible. I wouldn't recommend it.
