Principal B&Bcn

The bus stop right outside was useful, especially since I mostly relied on buses to get around Barcelona. There was also a ticket machine there, and the bus went toward the main attractions. I had booked a single room with a twin bed. It was small, but enough for one person. The hotel is on the second level of a very old building. Its elevator has a closing door, and the building entrance door is really noisy when it shuts. I could hear it from my room, and it disturbed my sleep sometimes.

The rooms were nice, and the elevator was pretty cool. Once the initial problem was sorted out, they were accommodating. At check-in, the concierge was away for siesta and we hadn't received the email with the door codes, so getting into the hotel and room was a hassle. Also, be aware that the rooms shown in the ads aren't the same ones you stay in.

Principal is in a perfect spot, with a bus, taxi service, restaurants, bars, clubs, and boutiques across the street. It was my first time in Barcelona, and choosing it was an excellent idea. Our plane arrived after check-in, but Eduard kindly emailed us the entry information for the B&B a week before we arrived. Eduard is amazing and very kind.

We stayed four days, and both the room and the view were amazing. Lovely hotel in a great central spot. You can walk or hop on a bus to get pretty much anywhere. 10/10.
