Residencia Universitaria Resa La Ciutadella -Campus Accomodation

The staff were helpful and spoke English fluently. Our room, though, looked nothing like the booking photo. It seemed meant for one person with a single bed, but there were two single beds squeezed into a very small space. I’ll share my own pictures so people can compare.

Check-in was straightforward, the service was great, and the location is perfect. The rooms were clean, although the shower was clogged with hair. I’d recommend staying here if you’re a student or teenager.

It was so hot without air conditioning that I regretted booking a whole week without checking first. I asked to upgrade, but had to wait two days, so I bought an electric cooling fan. At least that helped me sleep better at night. They cleaned my room at the end of my stay even though I hadn’t asked. Still, the floor had never been swept while I was there, and I could see my hair and dust. The worst thing was that my wedding ring and necklace went missing. I’d taken them off and left them on the side table, then only realized they were gone while packing. I wondered if I’d misplaced them, so I asked my aunt to come over and help search. We turned over the bed and checked my closet and every corner, but found nothing. My wedding ring was very tight, so it seemed unlikely I’d lost it off my finger. I waited a week for some news, but never heard anything.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here, especially for the price. The booking photos were misleading, and the bathroom, which wasn’t pictured, was moldy and musty. The room itself felt musty and unclean, with stained towels. It was small, which I could accept, but the two fans meant to cool it were broken. They gave us another one, but it was so dirty we didn’t use it.
