Between the wrong room, unreachable staff and photos that didn't match reality, this felt deeply unprofessional. If you're visiting Barcelona, book somewhere else. The room was much smaller and more run-down than the online pictures suggested, poorly maintained, and faced a noisy street. It was almost impossible to sleep. We were also given a room type different from what we had booked. I contacted staff right away by phone and email, but they were rude and dismissive, refused to acknowledge the mistake and offered no solution. We had to book another hotel at the last minute and leave, which caused extra stress and cost. There was basically no reception staff. Even during the stated hours, nobody showed up. We waited and tried several times to reach someone, but couldn't. I honestly don't understand how M.O. House Barcelona still gets positive reviews. The whole experience was extremely disappointing and felt closer to a scam than a hotel.

I booked six months ahead, but broke my leg and became completely immobile a month and a half before my stay. I sent all my medical documents and asked to cancel with a refund. The hotel ignored the request completely. I'm extremely disappointed and disillusioned. I'd stayed there before and recommended the hotel to many people. Even in a serious, unforeseen situation, it acted irresponsibly. Future guests should be careful: customers may be ignored, and problems may go unresolved.

The room was difficult to sleep in because the subway runs loudly underneath, with noise and vibrations coming through. Thin walls let in sounds from the street and hallway too, so the overall noise made the stay quite uncomfortable.

We entered the dates incorrectly by accident, and the hotel called to ask when we'd be arriving so they could resell the room. They kept £350, and showed no concern. Absolutely shocking service and customer care.

Roomy, well-equipped rooms and a great location, just a short walk from Plaza de Catalunya. I'd definitely recommend it and stay again!
