Hotel Barco San Sebastián

This felt like a scam, and Booking.com should know about it. We arrived on August 16th expecting a different experience, and it was very different. I can’t comment on Booking.com check-in because I never checked in. Three characters met us, including the “CAPTAIN,” a man called Juancho. Food was scattered across the deck floor and table, and both the boat and Juancho looked neglected. It gave the impression that the boat belonged to three friends. On board, they asked my wife for her name to check the booking. I’d called them just two minutes earlier and given my own name, the one on the reservation. They seemed more attentive to my wife than to the booking, and had no idea what reservations they had. He said they were full, which I doubt. Thankfully, we didn’t have our suitcases with us. We used the excuse of going to get them from the car, got in, and left in a hurry. I didn’t care if I lost the money. I wasn’t going to sleep there with my wife for any amount of money. All the positive Booking.com reviews must be theirs. I can’t believe anyone would like that place.
