Apartaments AR Nautic

The location was the only good thing, and thankfully we only stayed two days. The place was shabby and far too expensive for what it offered. Everything looked old, at least 10 years old, and clearly worn out. The mattress sagged, the sofa was so thinly padded you could feel the bottom, the shower head was broken, there was only one roll of toilet paper, and the kitchen was short on utensils. We had to make the beds ourselves, and the apartment smelled stale and musty. The ceramic hob kept cutting out while we cooked, so a plate of macaroni took an hour. We also had to walk over 40 minutes around Blanes and back with our luggage to get the keys, since they hadn't warned us and we had no car. For checkout, their set time was 10:00 AM, even though the normal time is 12:00 PM. We paid 10 euros to extend it until 2:00, not wanting to waste the day, but at 2:30 nobody had arrived for the keys. I called, and they said they'd set off in five minutes and told us to leave the keys in the apartment and go. It was a terrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The only things going for this place were the location and, to some extent, the price. The apartment was dirty, with grimy walls and curtains, and it was noisy and very basic. The mattresses were old and uncomfortable. We'd booked one with a street view but got one facing a cliff just 3 meters from the balcony. A bad experience.

We spent our savings and still ended up fighting classmates over a mug. There weren't enough cushions, and we woke up with sore necks. The mattresses were worse than straw. The whole vacation became a struggle to get by.

What a rip-off. Several beds were broken, there weren't enough cushions for everyone, the toilet seat was broken, and the refrigerator didn't cool. Disgusting.
