Hotel La Residencia

The Dali theme is the lovely surprise here: the whole hotel is devoted to his life and art, and the playful feel starts as soon as you walk into the lobby. We were lucky enough to meet the charming owner, who let us pose with canes from his Dali-esque collection. It made the place feel welcoming. Our room looked out over the town and sea, the wifi worked very well, and the price was quite reasonable.

The service at Hotel Residencia in Cadaques was outstanding from everyone we met. Our room for three was lovely, with a balcony overlooking the sea, and we even received posters as a parting gift when we left. Before the trip, a friend in Spain called to ask about parking. The hotel told her we could get a better rate by booking directly, with breakfast included, and reminded her to tell me to cancel my original booking through a large travel company. When I hadn't done it yet, they emailed me themselves to jog my memory. They really went out of their way to make our visit a good one. I'd stay here again if I were in Cadaques.

The location is a real plus, and the shower pressure is especially good. Rooms are small but well prepared, the staff are cheerful, and breakfast is nice. For dinner, try the street just across from the hotel.

The staff were the real highlight for us, helpful and informative, and it felt like they genuinely had our best interests in mind. The location is right in the center of town, so everything is within walking distance. We stayed one night, and it was a wonderful part of our trip to Cadaques. Our room and bathroom were very clean. It had a queen bed, flat TV, desktop, private bathroom with a bathtub and hair dryer, and a minibar with very reasonable prices. The whimsical, quaint decor was lovely too. Breakfast came with our booking, and it was delicious and generous: croissants, pan au chocolat, madalenas, bread, cheese, ham, tomatoes, fruit, juice, and coffee. Don't skip it if you can. This hotel was a must for us.
