Hotel Sol Ixent Cadaqués

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and we were allowed to leave at our own pace since the hotel didn’t give us a checkout time. Thanks for a great stay. Our room had a balcony and lots of natural light, and the pool facilities and dining area were excellent. The hotel isn’t in the center of Cadaqués, but it’s an easy walk, with a charming coastal route. Breakfast could have been a little better. Fresh coffee would have been nice instead of machine coffee, though that didn’t take away from the experience.

We’re wrapping up a three-week tour of Spain and Portugal, and I’m so glad I chose this hotel for our three nights. It’s a little out of town, around a pleasant 20-25 minute walk, but the service, food and amenities more than made up for it. The photos don’t do the property justice. It’s much more beautiful in person, and very well built. The staff were amazing. They got us tickets to the sold-out Dali house and suggested other fantastic places to visit and eat. The breakfast buffet was the best we’ve had at any hotel in many years, with fresh local items and a range of Spanish and European options. Dinner was really tasty too, and we enjoyed a few drinks in the lounge. Congratulations to the whole team, it all made for a fantastic stay and we appreciated it.

The rooms are clean and modern, with terraces, and breakfast is included. There are both private and public parking options, and it’s easy to reach. The hotel is well located and quiet, with views of the pool or the sea. Staff were pleasant and very attentive, and can even order food for you. A great experience, I highly recommend it. Gracias.

A lovely place with the feel of four stars despite being rated three. The service was very good, the pool was great and the scenery beautiful. Just bear in mind the hotel is outside the village, about a 20-minute walk to Cadaques center.
