What made the stay for us was the staff. Erica and Andrea were especially kind and helpful, and the lifeguard lady literally saved our two-year-old. The rooms were spotless and breakfast was plentiful. It’s a small, fairly new hotel in a beautiful spot, just a short walk from the prettiest Portals Nous beach. The bus stop and town restaurants are easy to reach on foot too. We’ll be back. Thanks for such a lovely stay.

We had a pleasant two-night stay. Staff were nice, breakfast was good, and the pool area was enjoyable with lovely views. Some parts of the hotel look a little tired, and being up a hill may not suit everyone.

The hotel is in a good location, which makes the way this was handled all the more disappointing. During my stay at Exe Portals Nous, the water in my room stopped completely for several hours, leaving both the shower and toilet unusable. After asking several times, I was told I could use a courtesy shower in another room. That wasn’t an acceptable fix, especially with a wedding to get ready for. At checkout they said I’d get a refund. I’ve followed up by email several times and still haven’t had a reply or the money back. The only offer was a discount on a future stay, which doesn’t address a problem with the stay I actually had. Customer service was very disappointing.

The staff made us feel incredibly welcome and at home, more than I’ve felt at any hotel before. My boyfriend and I spent five days here for some winter sun and were really impressed. The price was very reasonable for the area, the pool had fantastic ocean views, and our room was clean and modern. Breakfast was perfect. Thanks for a great holiday!

Desta deserves a special mention for the extremely nice service. The location worked well for us with a rental car, and breakfast was good. We felt the hotel was decent value and had a nice stay, though a few things could be improved. The bathroom sink smelled, there was no toilet brush, and I couldn’t sign into my Google account on the smart TV for some reason. The pool only had three or four sun umbrellas, and they weren’t available all around it.
