Amistad

The best part of Hostal Flor Amistad is how close it is to everything. It’s a five-minute walk to the beach and Paguera’s main boulevard, with its shops and restaurants. Our check-in was quick despite arriving after midnight. We had to go to a nearby building, where the gentleman at reception was polite and gave clear directions to the hostal. Room 4, on the ground floor, was small and simple, but clean, comfortable enough for a five-day trip where we mostly slept there, and had a private bathroom. The neighbors could sometimes be heard, though everyone was respectful. There’s a shared kitchen with a microwave, glasses, and cutlery for simple meals. We also saw two washing machines, which we didn’t use but assume are free for guests. Mallorca is expensive, and over 500 euros for five nights in a hostal without breakfast can feel steep, though those are typical local prices. This isn’t a luxury stay, but I’d recommend Hostal Flor Amistad as a clean, comfortable and fantastically located base for exploring Paguera without breaking the bank.

The rooms are a good size, with a small bathroom, toilet, free shampoo and shower gel, plus a handy safe. The only issue was mold in the air conditioner. I told the staff and they cleaned it the next day. They were super, and thanks to the cleaning staff too, towels were changed every two days. You can also use the pools at the main hotel. There’s a well-equipped kitchen with a free cold drinking water fountain, and a snack machine where I think everything costs 2 €. Downstairs in the living room there are books and board games. You can borrow parasols for the beach at no charge, and there are washing machines with detergent. If you want to spend more time at the beach before your flight, the main hotel has a luggage room and a shower with a toilet and clean towels. I had a great time, and if I get back to Paguera, I’ll definitely return to this accommodation!

I loved the look of this place, and the balcony had a lovely view. The room and bathroom were comfortable and squeaky-clean. Staff were very friendly, and breakfast was included, healthy, and delicious. There are great places to eat and explore nearby. I was really impressed and would highly recommend staying here.

A relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great breakfast to take on a beach day, with the beach only a few minutes away. There’s also a station where guests can share or pick up beach gear from one another. Very nice hotel, highly recommended.
