The low staircase means you have to duck a little at the entrance. That was the only downside for us, since we mostly used the apartment to sleep. It’s a handy base if you have a car, with Covadonga, Ribadesella, and some lovely beaches nearby. The apartment was clean and tidy, and had the appliances we needed, including an iron and hairdryer. There’s a double bed in one bedroom and two singles in the other, plus a small living room with a sofa connected to the kitchen. The terrace was lovely for early breakfasts in summer. Lola was wonderful. We were there during the summer 2025 wildfires, and she helped us reschedule our trip to the Picos de Europa mountains. She has lots of good ideas if you ask her. The descent of the Sella River was the highlight!

The setting is hard to beat. It’s peaceful, surrounded by nature, and a lovely place to get away and enjoy the area. The apartment itself was uncomfortable, though. The facilities are very basic, and the lack of upkeep and wear over time are clear. It didn’t have the comfort I’d expect for a pleasant stay and really needs renovating. If I come back to this area, I’ll look for somewhere else with a basic level of comfort.

The river is nearby, and the setting is so peaceful. My partner and I loved the place and its great location. We’ll definitely come back 🫶

Our apartment, El Arbolín, was spotless, comfortable, and full of charm. We felt at home right away. It’s peaceful, a little out of town but still close by. Lola was lovely, friendly, and attentive to anything we needed. We can’t wait to return. Thanks, and see you soon! 🤗
