The patio looks nice in the pictures, but it isn’t really a place to relax. It has no open ceiling, gets hot and humid, and lacks natural air. Since the Loft is on the ground floor, there’s very little natural light. The bed is by the main entrance and street, so expect outside noise and the comings and goings of other guests. The Loft is an unusual place to stay, previously a restaurant, and we saw a lot of bugs. Maybe the upstairs rooms are cleaner and brighter. It’s very central for visiting Ciutadella, and communication was prompt and good. For the price, better quality shower and shampoo products would have been nice. I’d tell future guests not to be taken in by the pictures.

We were welcomed warmly by our hosts, who gave us lots of suggestions for places to go. La Cayena has a great atmosphere, and the apartment is ideal, well designed, and equipped. We had an amazing stay and would recommend it 100%!

A real surprise and a pleasure. The food was so tasty, homemade on the spot, and not expensive compared with the other touristy places around. It’s a refreshing change from all those tourist restaurants, and I’m not exaggerating. Thanks! Get the quesadilla to share as a starter, it’s terrific.

We stayed in the Suite (Pimenta Rosa), which was spacious and nicely furnished, and the location was convenient, just a few minutes’ walk from Ciutadella’s centre while still quiet. Monica, one of the owners, was very helpful and shared valuable tips on where to eat. La Cayena is an excellent restaurant with fusion food, mostly Asian with some South American dishes. They also have various burgers that looked interesting, though we didn’t try them. Highly recommended!

The room was spotless, and its bright colors put me in a good mood every day. Monica was especially quick to answer questions, and both owners communicated really well. It’s a short walk to everything Ciutadella has to offer. I’d happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting enchanting Menorca.
