The room had everything we needed and was nice, and I’m not sure how common paid Netflix is in hotels around Spain. The one drawback was that there’s no sound insulation in the bathroom.

We only stayed two nights, and I wish it had been longer. The hosts are lovely, and Casa Taoro is wonderfully peaceful even with two other houses next door, thanks to the excellent soundproofing. It’s a spacious, comfortable single-story home, decorated with antique furniture and thoughtful objects down to the smallest detail. The bright rooms look over a field and the terraced town, with the sea in the distance. There’s a huge walk-in closet made entirely of antique wood, and the bathroom is spacious and perfect.

We stayed in Casa Abona for the weekend, and the peace and quiet were absolute. It’s a charming little place for two, thoughtfully laid out with every detail considered. The heating was already on when we arrived, so it was lovely and warm despite the cold outside. My partner and I would definitely recommend it, and we’ll be back.

The easy communication with the hosts, comfortable feel, and decor all made Casa Güimar a lovely place to spend the night. It was very quiet and perfect for a good night’s sleep.
