There's plenty of room to walk around, the bed is comfortable, and the spacious balcony is a real plus. The location is great for reaching the center and everything else. The street is noisy all day and night, with cars and people, so we couldn't leave the door open. The ceiling fan helped, but we could still hear everything. Pre-check-in was cumbersome because nobody was there, and you need cell service to get through both the street door and the front door.

The owner was really helpful and let me check in early when I arrived, which was great since I was walking the Camino. This family-run hostel was just right for me, with a comfortable bed, a good room and a great shower. The location in the old town is excellent, close to everything. Highly recommended.

After two weeks road-tripping through several cities in central northern Spain, this has been the bets hotel by far. The service and location were both great, and Savi especially exceeded our expectations. Super friendly, helpful and attentive. If we're back in Gijon, this will be our go-to.

The host welcomed us in the bright, airy reception and quickly answered all our questions. The hostel is on one floor, extremely comfortable, cozy and thoughtfully designed, with charming details like gold trim around the bathroom outlets. The shower head angle was a little awkward, but the newly remodelled bathroom was excellent in quality and style. Earplugs are on the bedside table, though we didn't need them despite being right in the town center. The location is hard to beat for the money. Unfortunately, a bit of misinformation from the host meant we missed out on the area's famed cachopo that evening. If you're staying in Gijon, I highly recommend this quint little gem in the center.
