Having read earlier reviews, we knew to expect dated areas, drain smells, thin walls and noise from adjoining spaces. Our stay was pretty much as expected, and we enjoyed the 3 nights. The concern was that we couldn't lock the patio doors to the first floor balcony. It opens straight onto the street, isn't enclosed and could be accessed by an able-bodied person. It didn't become an issue during our stay.

The customer service was terrible most of the time, in my opinion. People were rude and unhelpful, and generally had poor service skills. There were ants on the floor in the room, human hairs around the bathroom and sink, dirty windows, terrible WI-F and extremely thin walls. In general, it's not a nice place to stay. Never again.

Bianca at the pool was especially attentive and made us feel really looked after. The staff were friendly throughout. We stayed at the end of April, and although the first room had problems, reception listened and moved us quickly. The replacement room had a few issues too. They checked them promptly but didn’t fix everything, so they offered a free late checkout, which worked well with our late flight. Overall, a pleasant stay with some problems.

It was a really enjoyable place to stay while I was on the island, and I’d happily return. There are plenty of shops nearby, and you can walk to the sea and the centre of the beach. I’d recommend it to other travellers.
