Hotel Belcaire

For the price, this was a decent place to stay. The room was comfortable, though hallway and breakfast-area noise carried in. Mercadona was within walking distance and had much cheaper breakfast food, with a little row of shops and restaurants nearby too. We needed the front desk to arrange taxis whenever we wanted to go somewhere. Valencia is about 30 minutes away, and the beach about 15.

We got what we expected for the price: a clean room, nice staff, and a good breakfast. Just be aware there's no way to make drinks in the bedroom.

We arrived just after midnight on 18/04/22 and were welcomed with a genuine smile. They kindly helped us in English. The hotel feels like a blend of the sixties and modern design, and the old-fashioned bell in the elevator was a fun touch. The corridors are especially wide, and everything looked clean and functional. Our room was spacious, well equipped and bright, with a large bathroom and even a dental care kit, which you don't often find now. We had a really nice view, and parking was right outside in the town centre. I just wished there'd been a kettle for tea or coffee and more choice in the vending machines at reception. Still, it's well worth the 20km detour from the motorway. Strongly recommend.

The room was spacious, very clean, and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom was roomy as well, and the clean perfume smell in the lobby and bathroom was calming. The hotel mixes modern style with a touch of the 1960s, which I loved. We arrived at midnight on Wednesday 7th February after having trouble finding parking in Barcelona and Valencia, and there were spaces right outside. The gentleman on the night shift was very polite and welcoming, and explained everything we needed to know in detail. Every hotel needs a receptionist like him. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in the area, and strongly recommend it to anyone visiting.
