The staff and location were great, and everyone was super friendly and helpful. But the AC was off when we got back from dinner, and there was no remote for guests to turn it on. The room got so hot I couldn’t sleep, even sweating after a fresh shower. Opening the window didn’t help: the air had nowhere to move, and a street light was right outside. I messaged the WhatsApp number when I noticed the AC was off, but got no reply. In stinking hot weather, AC is the reason you pay extra. I was very unhappy. Otherwise, this would have been a five-star review.

After a day walking the camino, I was sore and glad I’d stayed here. Juan checked us in and made sure I got a good bunk. The beds were great, the lounge area was amazing, and we were very close to the city’s great sights. Highly recommend!
The host was welcoming and helpful, and the main room was superb. Everything felt well run, from the fully equipped kitchen to the clean rooms and bathrooms. The beds had privacy curtains and sockets in the right spots. Highly recommended.
I’ve visited this hostel twice and felt comfortable and secure there. It’s stylish, well located in the city centre, with a spacious hall and good internet that let me work during my stay in Logroño. Tourists from all over and the international team made the place feel welcoming. Juan at reception explained the city to me, thanks to him. Spanish hospitality is the best.
For a night on the way, this albergue does the job, but I wouldn’t come for charm or a sense of Camino camaraderie. It feels like a functional, clean pitstop with the soul of a budget motel. The cubicle beds and basic curtains offer some privacy, though it still feels like a dorm, not a sanctuary. Mattresses are worn and have body dents that make you wonder about the previous pilgrim’s back pain. Cloth sheets and towels are provided, a small luxury on this long dusty road. The shower stalls are spacious, but mold on the walls and musty, damp air suggest poor ventilation. There’s no laundry station, just two tiny hangers under a covered patio for drying clothes, and nowhere to stash smelly shoes except under the bed or in your room. The small kitchen has the essentials, a toaster oven and kettle, with just enough space to make a meal. Mismatched couches make the lounge a place to chill, though pilgrims chatting can get noisy. Wifi is decent, but that’s about it. Staff are efficient, though don’t expect warm greetings or much Camino spirit. It’s businesslike, check in, get your bed, and go. Security is tight, with four messages asking you to confirm arrival before you even enter. If you need a bed and roof for a night, it works. Anything more, and you may wish you’d kept walking.
